Summary/Objective: The Weigher & Bagger Operator is responsible for operation of their designated machine and will be required throughout the day to operate more than one machine.
The operator will ensure bags being generated from their machines is in accordance with certain quality standards set forth by FPC. ( i.e. check weighing bags to ensure proper weigh, using correct film whether the bag requires a front a front and back film or just one-sided film, ensure bags are properly heat-sealed etc.)
The operator is responsible for cleanliness of their machines as well as their immediate work area. (i.e. sweeping, picking up fallen product from the ground.)
Stops equipment to clear jams.
Informs supervisor of equipment malfunction.
Must keep record of production and equipment performance.
Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
