Shop Office Assistant

Summary/Objective: The Shop Office Assistant performs various administrative and clerical tasks to support the Shop Department.  The Shop Office Assistant is responsible for a variety of activities in the office ranging from filing and answering the phone to assisting with data entry.

 

Position Requirements

  • Perform data entry
  • Perform basic bookkeeping duties
  • Assist in filing duties
  • Reroute calls to appropriate people
  • Answer phones and greets employees
  • Operate office machines, such as photocopiers and scanners, facsimile machines, voice mail systems and personal computers
  • Schedule and plan meetings and appointments
  • Monitor level of supplies and handle shortages
  • Perform receptionist duties when needed   

 

Experience Requirements

  • High school diploma  or GED
  • Proficient is Excel and Word
  • 3+ years of experience as an office assistant or in another clerical position
