Summary/Objective: The Parts Runner is responsible for running parts pick up, assist in delivering and picking up parts under the supervision of Parts Clerk, and Shop Foreman. Parts Runner will also assist Parts Clerk with other duties as assigned.
Pick up and delivers parts as per parts clerk.
Ensures shop cleanliness and maintenance on a regular basis.
Processes and tracks parts that have been placed on order.
Makes repairs and performs routine and preventative maintenance on building and shop equipment
Performs clean up duties to shop, shop vehicles, rest room and offices which includes taking out the trash, sweeping, mopping, dusting and cleaning windows.
Operates computer to document repairs parts and charged to correct repair orders on a daily basis, may be required to perform spot inventory.
Monitors communications and respond to off-site requests for assistance.
Monitors and report all safety-related issues as related to the shop area or any location where maintenance is being performed.
Available to respond to emergency pick-up and delivery after hours including nights, weekends and Holidays
Perform other duties as required.
Required Education and Experience:
High school diploma or GED
Must have C class Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record
Must pass Pre-employment drug screen, and MVR check
Bilingual Spanish/English preferred
Environment Factors and Conditions/Physical Requirements
Sit or stand for extended periods.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
