Summary/Objective: The Field Employee Relations Liaison is responsible for assisting employees out in the work areas and relaying information back to office personnel. The Field Employee Relations Liaison works closely with the HR department, Compliance department, and Safety department to ensure policy implementation.

Essential Functions:

  • Review and monitor all Daily Crew Activity and time reports for accuracy.
  • Follow up on field form issues with Crew Foremen and Employees.
  • Coordinate and administer all employee safety training classes in conjunction with established programs and evaluation criteria.
  • Assist in the coordination of Modified Work Program for injured employees.
  • Assist Office staff in tracking employment information for EDD reporting.
  • Assist Office staff in employee registration, safety training and orientation and distribution of payroll documents.
  • Accurately completes training programs/records and forwards to the Compliance Department.
  • Train Crew Foremen on Policies and Procedures including all required paperwork.
  • Train and Guide Crew Foreman on how to handle issues that arise in the field.
  • Document statements and declarations from employees and crew foreman and communicate information to management.
  • Maintain communication with office personnel and management on employee related issues.
  • Assist Crew Foreman on Technical related issues.
  • Provide Orientation/Training to new Crew Foreman on the Company’s Policies and Procedures.
  • Update and monitor all Crew Foreman and Assistants information for future trainings.
  • Monitor and conduct daily crew audits.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


  • Bachelor’s degree in management or related field.
  • Five+ years of general office experience with at least two years in management.
  • Proficiency required in all MS Office Applications; Outlook, Word, Excel, Power Point.
  • Must have a valid California Driver License Class C, and a clean Motor Vehicle Report.
  • Experience with Data Tech and Pet Tiger software.
  • Positive Liaison rating from year to year.
  • Prior Liaison Supervisory and/or Management experience in field-based settings is desirable.
  • Knowledge of and ability to demonstrate respect for issues of multiculturalism and diversity.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills. (Must be comfortable working with email communication).
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to exercise independent professional judgment when appropriate; strong decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently.
