Summary/Objective: The Ag Shop Mechanic will perform skilled mechanical work in maintenance, repair, and operation of Ag equipment. Performs routine maintenance and adjustments on things such as fluid levels, hoses, belts, brakes, tires, oil and filters.
Standard Work Week: Mon-Sat
Pay Type: Hourly

Record details of repairs made and parts used.
Examine and listen to equipment, read inspection reports, to confer with customers to locate and diagnose malfunctions.
Reassemble machines and equipment following repair, test operation, and make adjustments as necessary.
Inspect brake systems, steering mechanisms, wheel bearings, and other important parts to ensure they are in proper operating condition.
Maintain repair and/or fabrication records
Other duties as assigned
Must have your own hand tools, we provide large shop type tools that are newer quality tooling & specialty engine tools
5+ years of experience performing service repairs
Advanced knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems used in the repair of agricultural equipment
Valid CA driver’s license required
Ability to lift at least 75 lbs. repeatedly
