Summary/Objective: Reporting to the Corporate Controller, the Accounts Receivable Manager will ensure that the company receives payment for goods and services offered to customers. This position will also create and implement procedures to help streamline the collections and reporting process, working with various departments to monitor invoicing and collections.

Essential Functions:

• Monitoring the invoicing and money collection processes
• Works with sales staff to resolve outstanding balances
• Oversee and assist in recording customer payments and transactions related to accounts receivable.
• Creates invoices according to company practices; submits invoices to customers.
• Identifies delinquent accounts by reviewing files and contacts delinquent accountholders to request payment.
• Creates reports regarding the current status of customer accounts as requested.
• Researches customer discrepancies and past-due amounts with the assistance of the sales and other staff.
• Collaborates with the accounting staff to reconcile accounts receivable on a periodic basis
• Assists in generating monthly billing statements based on the general ledger
• Maintain documentation for compliance reporting and audits
• Performs other related duties as assigned


• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred
• At least two years of related experience is required
• AR experience in produce industry a plus
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software as well as other accounting software programs
• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to anticipate work needs and interact professionally with customers
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
